Document Event Video + Photo

Chris Justus was everything I wanted in a Videographer. I had some issues getting a hold of him and trying to explain what I wanted, but as time got closer we worked out all the kinks. The video was of the best quality and he captured everything important and sacred. He is a true professional and amazing at what he does. I would recommend him to any bride!

We hired Chris Justus to film our May 2009 wedding back in January 2009. I liked his website and was excited to have our wedding filmed by him. Before the wedding Chris was very hard to get in contact with. I left numerous messages on his phone, and emailed him several times to no avail. Finally I filled out the contact us page on his website, and he finally replied by email, and assured me he would show up on 5/23/09 to film our wedding. He did show up to film the wedding, and that is the last time we have had any contact with him. Since our wedding day, I have tried emailing and calling him numerous times. He never picks up his phone and never returns any calls. He has never responded to any of our emails. I have pleaded with him (through heart wrenching emails) to just give us our wedding video, still no response. I have even wrote that I will look aside to all the time that has passed, and to just please give me the video, no harm done... I am beyond sad to know that we lost $1,000.00 to this scam artist. Even sadder than that is that we will never get to see the footage from our wedding. Please brides and grooms to be, do not hire this crook. Your wedding is too important to be trusted with this scam artist. And Chris, if you are reading this, please, contact me and just provide us with the service and product that you were contracted to complete.

We found Document Life and Chris Justus through The Knot, and we planned our destiination wedding in Las Vegas with him in mind because we didn't want cliche wedding footage. We were very impressed with his website, he even emailed and corresponded with us, giving us a demo reel of his work etc. He is very personable and was helpful, promising that he does not book other gigs on the same day, etc. His work is good, and we trusted him and his talent. We tried to hire him for extra time, and he said he had another wedding and was off and quick to run away the day of our wedding. To make a long story short, he has ran off with our money and we are left with NO video, no footage of our wedding, after paying him $2650!! He has dropped off the face of the earth and has failed to produce our products. We got married in MARCH 2009. It turns out that we are NOT the only couple that has fallen for his scam. He has hit up at least other couples, and all of us have not been able to track him down. His numbers are still the same and the emails are still the same, he is even on facebook. HE IS STILL IN BUSINESS and is still running off with people's trust, emotions, recorded memories, and money. We have tried everything, (going to the BBB, etc.) and we are still the losers here. He and the business keep on moving and reshacking so they are untraceable. BE AWARE OF CHRIS JUSTUS AND DOCUMENT LIFE VIDEO!!! DO NOT HIRE THEM! AVOID THIS SCAM ARTIST AT ALL COST!!! ~ CCSS

Our video is wonderful and came out better than I expected. The DVD did take longer than I anticipated, but Chris more than made up for it in the end and kept in contact with me.
