Makeup in the 702

On my wedding day I had to be ready by 11a and my wedding day festivities ended at 11pm. A tall order for anyone to make me look "nice" for 12 hours. Megan and Whitney did so much more than that. They were always prompt, completely understood the look that I wanted on my wedding day and both my hair and my makeup lasted through the entire time. The only time I touched up my makeup was my lipstick. Nothing else budged, smeared, faded or fell. I cried, I danced, I hugged lots and ran around casinos so I put everything to the test. I am 43 and just wanted to look good - they made me look better than I have ever looked in my life. So that is the professional side of the review. On the other side I am so happy I found them - they are more than vendors now, they are both amazing people that I am blessed to keep in touch with. I hope to remain friends with them for many years to come and if I ever want to look fabulous I know they will be there to help. They are both extremely talented professionals but more than that they are incredible caring intelligent individuals!!! I highly recommend them!!!!

Megan & her team were so awesome to work with. Megan was always quick to respond to texts or email and treated me as if she had known me my whole life! Casey & Whitney were assigned to do our hair and makeup. Both of them showed up about 20 minutes early and got started right away. There was no lallygagging or chit chatting going on with each other (like I've read about other vendors doing) they both just got straight to work. Casey was absolutely superb! He did an awesome job on our makeup...so awesome that even 10 hours later after crying, sweating, and dancing my makeup looked just as fresh as when he first put it on! It looked so natural and beautiful, not pancakey at all (I was afraid that it might be). As for Whitney, my MOH was so worried that nothing could be done with her hair because it's so fine and she doesn't have a lot of hair...let me tell you, Whitney did an amazing job! My MOH was absolutely stunning, her husband couldn't keep his eyes off her all night long after Casey & Whitney did their fine work on her! I did not do a trial, I simply showed Whitney a picture of what I wanted and she worked her magic. I couldn't have been happier with the entire experience. I have since decided to 'hire' Whitney as my hairstylist. Let me just tell you that you can not go wrong hiring Makeup in the 702!!!

Megan and Whitney are everything I could ask for. They came on time, they did not rush me, they made me look beautiful but natural. My makeup in my opinion was flawless. I felt so confident and pretty when usually when I have had makeup artists do my makeup I feel like a clown. Megan made my features stand out naturally but highlighted them. My skin looked so pretty, everything was just great. Now for her personality-she is definitely someone you would want around on your wedding day. She is kind and she kept the conversation lighthearted. I've been with other makeup artists that talked about "drama" and sometimes that's not the conversation to be talking about right before the wedding. She is super professional. Whitney made me look like a million bucks too! She made all my girls have gorgeous hair. I am pleased with everything about Makeup in the 702 and would suggest them to any bride who is looking for a good experience.

Megan was great! She was detail orientated and responsive to my needs. She kept in touch with me right up to the day of the event with e-mails and texts, answering all my questions and adding additional people to my party at the last minute. She left me feeling beautiful...hair and make-up was flawless. I couldn't ask for more!

I definitely recommend Makeup in the 702! I am not from the Las Vegas area so finding someone to do hair and makeup for my wedding was very stressful until I spoke with Megan. Megan was amazing. She was always available for questions and constantly kept in contact with me even now, a month after my wedding. On my wedding day, Megan and Deb did a fantastic job with my hair and makeup and I couldn't have asked for better people to make me look my best on my special day. They were very professional and did a great job on my bridesmaids. They even finished early so we had extra time to relax before the wedding. Like I said before, I definitely recommend Makeup in the 702!!!

Megan and her team are simply the best. Not only is Megan professional and superb at her job but she is extremely friendly, down-to-earth, and humble. I talked to a few other makeup artists and hair stylists for my destination wedding in Vegas but no one else came close to making me feel as comfortable as she did. Megan stayed in touch via phone calls, texts, and emails from the first time I called her to, to when I reserved her and the team, to the day of the wedding, and afterwards. If you want 5star service without snootiness then book Makeup in the 702 today. I am still so impressed at how prepared her and Debbie were when they arrived at my room in the Monte Carlo and it really only took the two of them 45minutes. Megan & Debbie worked so well together and we had such a good time chatting with my now sister-in-laws the entire time they did my hair and makeup. When I showed Megan & Debbie want kind of look I wanted (I brought pictures, I definately recommned doing that if you can't book the preview appt) they were able to exceed my expectations. I can't wait to go back to Vegas because I'll definately be booking Makeup in the 702 again.

There's a reason that Megan has 5 stars!! She's simply fantastic. Megan did the make-up for myself and my four bridesmaids for my wedding. She came to us and was on time. Of the 5 of us girls, 3 of us were caucasian, but with different skin types (i am very red/ruddy, my best friend has a dark spot, and my other bridesmaid is incredibly picky about everything). Another of my bridesmaids is of Mexican heritage and my final one is Indian. Any other MUA probably would have gone running for the dessert :) But Megan handled the job from the beginning like the pro she is. We were planning from far away so a trial was not possible, which of course made me nervous. I shouldn't have been! She had me send her pictures of my and the girls ahead of time so she knew what she was working with and had the appropriate supplies. We looked amazing! One of my bridesmaids posted her after pictures on facebook and like 30 people commented how awesome she looked. My PICKY (I can't describe how picky she is about everything - only buys one brand of clothing, one brand of electronics, etc) bridesmaid who never wears make-up loved how she looked and said she wished Megan could do her make-up every day! So as if us looking like supermodels wasn't enough, Megan was totally just like part of our gang. I would say most brides and bridal parties have some nerves/stuff going wrong the day of and we were no exception, but Megan was so personable it felt like we'd all known her forever!! If you are getting married in Las Vegas then you must use this vendor it's the best descision I ever made!! Coming from the UK it was quite a hard descision wether to take the risk booking a company over the internet or to just do the make up myself ... luckily I bit the bullet and chose Megan for my big day. From the first Email she made me feel relaxed and at ease putting any doubts I had far to the back of my mind. Upon arriving at my hotel Megan called my room to welcome me and confirm details of my tan and make up session. When I first met her I felt like I had known her years, greeting me with a big hug and a friendly smile. My tan was beautiful, my hair (by whitney who was also AMAZING) looked stunning and my make up ... Just perect, she listened to what i wanted and worked her magic making me feel like a true princess!! so dont even think twice I never really write reviews but I want everyone to know just how amazing Megan is, you NEED her on your wedding day xxx

Holy cow, Megan is amazing! She provided such personal and friendly service from the first time I contacted her until even after my wedding. I was so pleased with the airbrush makeup and so happy that it stayed perfect through the tears and dancing! I definitely recommend makeup in the 702; she is so sweet, professional and extremely gifted at what she does!

Megan and Deb did a wonderful job! I first contacted Megan only about a month before the wedding. Everything was very last minute and Megan was very accommodating. The girls came to my hotel and were on time, even a little early. Two days before, Megan came to my hotel room and gave me a spray tan and the color was beautiful. It was radiating...my skin looked perfect. We talked for a few minutes and they new exactly what to do. In a matter of a few minutes, we felt like we had known them all our lives. Megan has this down-to-earth, feel good, personality. Besides being an expert at makeup and such, this is definitely her forte'. She knows how calm, and make you feel so special. The first thing people say when they see my pictures is how beautiful I look and wow! look at your eyes...exactly what I wanted. Thanks Megan and Deb! You girls rock!!!

Megan was an absolute delight to work with - she was relaxed, friendly and very professional. Deb and Whitney were our hairstylists for the day and they were fun and easygoing. All of the ladies were easy to hang out with and have a laugh - made for a calm and memorable morning!

Megan was in contact with me regularly. I was insanely rushed on my wedding day (having to change rooms by myself) and there they were. Patiently waiting for me at my new room and instantly dove in to action. They calmed me down instantly by giving me some aromatherapy, saying things like "just relax", "It's about you now", "let us take care of it". I've never met them or used them before (I live in NY), but I had an idea of what I wanted with my hair and makeup and could not explain it. Megan loved that I kept using the phrase "It's like you're in my head!" because they were doing everything I wanted the first time! I didn't have to direct them for anything! They were wonderful, sweet, professional and quick. I was late and we were still done on time. I would highly recommend using them if you are out there, especially for a wedding. They are AMAZING!! Megan and her team at Makeup In The 702 were simply wonderful! My husband and I had decided on a destination wedding in Las Vegas, so all of my wedding planning was done long distance, as opposed to in person. Megan was extremely attentive to my requests via email and text messages. This was very much appreciated indeed! I relied heavily on other bride's online reviews and am so thrilled that I decided to book Makeup In The 702 on my big day for hair and makeup. They were a pleasure to work with, punctual and professional. They styled my hair and makeup in the manner I conveyed to them, down to the last detail. I highly recommend Makeup in the 702. I had my hair and make-up done and could not be happier. Megan kept in touch with me throughout the planning process through e-mail and answered my questions. She texted me reminders and sweet thoughts day of wedding and for the the trial (recommended). She and her partner(hair)-Deb were very laid back, nice, personable and professional. They both made sure that I got the look I wanted and remained true to my personality. I got fake eyelashes that didn't last all day for the trial day. I told Megan and she made sure my lashes were extra stuck for the wedding day - and they lasted all day and night! Three of my bridesmaids opted for hair only and then when they saw my makeup they asked if Megan would give them lashes and do their eyes. She was so sweet and accomodated them and mentioned that it is hard for her to say no:). She made me feel so comfortable and made my day so special. It is obvious that she truly enjoys her work and will do anything to make sure the bride is relaxed and beautiful!

THE BEST MONEY I SPENT! I went back and forth to pay the money for airbrush makeup and both my maid of honor and I went for it. We looked beautiful! I love the pictures, I look amazing. I didn’t feel like I had a ton of makeup on, it was light. Megan was great and super fast, she was in and out in 45 minutes. She was early, I had an area set aside for her with great lighting, she setup and went for it. I didn’t do a trial, and was a little nervous but she walks she through it, to make sure you like it every step of the way

Makeup in the 702 should be the only choice for bride's getting married in Las Vegas. I cannot begin to describe in words how amazingly beautiful I felt on the biggest day of my life. From the initial phone call, I knew Makeup in the 702 was the one. It's like the dress...when you know, you know! From the trial to the day of my wedding, everything was absolutely perfect. Megan is so soft spoken and calming (which is a must-have on your big day). I felt that I was the only person in the room when she was doing my makeup. She mentally took me to a calm, serene place and I cannot thank her enough. I sometimes think we forget how truly important that is for us to take a moment to relax and just breathe. I have done makeup myself for many years and although I pondered doing my own makeup for my wedding, I thought it be best to hire someone since I knew my nerves and the overall excitement of the day would get in the way. I could not be happier with the results. From the hotel staff to my wedding guests, I was complimented on how beautiful I looked and how "stunning" my makeup looked. The photographs speak for themselves and I honestly still think about how flawless of a job she did. I had 11 people get their makeup done and every single one of them looked absolutely breathtaking. One of the best wedding decisions I made was booking Megan. She was one of the NICEST people I've ever met in my entire life. She tries so hard to make you feel comfortable and help you relax. She also knows what works. I had a vague idea of how I wanted my makeup, and she went from there and made me look so beautiful. Whitney did my hair and she did an amazing job. I showed her two pictures and asked her which would look better with my hair, and she gave me her advice and she was right. I recommend the hair and makeup trial. Not because they would screw up, but because I felt so much more comfortable on the day of the wedding knowing that everything was going to look perfect. When my fiance walked in the door and saw me the first time, he almost started to cry. That's how I knew they did a great job!

Megan and Krystal did my hair and make-up back in September and I could not have been happier with the results. Megan was great and it was her friendly and fast emails that won the booking over others I'd enquired about. I had them come to my hotel room in the Venetian and they were prompt and friendly. Krystal did my hair first. I showed her a quick pic of the sort of thing I wanted and she just got to work. She did it exactly how I wanted it without any tweaking needed and she works so fast. She was really great to chat to and made me feel very relaxed. She then jetted off and Megan followed shortly after. She is such a character, so lovely and you can tell she enjoys her job so much. She made feel like a model and helped me get a look I felt great with. She is extremely knowledgable about her products and what to do to suit the weather. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and they made my wedding day all the more memorable
