The Terrace

Ginny and the folks at the Terrace were wonderful. I planned my ceremony from out of town and only made three trips to Vegas during the process. Each time, they went out of their way to be flexible with my schedule - and all the times I changed my mind about what we really wanted. For those that think this place was expensive, I recommend they look around at other similar locations in Las Vegas and see how much the same options would cost. The food was wonderful, the place looked beautiful, and everything went perfectly. I would HIGHLY recommend this location.

Ginny and her team were wonderful and they assisted us with everything we needed. The reception and staff was beyond our expectations, everything was beautiful, we couldn't have asked for more.

We had our wedding and CAKE reception at the Terrace in Henderson. It is a beautiful venue, with rock water falls, palm trees, torches, the works. Its ambiance is amazing, and is very lovely. We chose the ceremony/cake reception package, which included...obviously...the ceremony and a cake reception. The officiant was provided, and was very likeable and professional. The package also included a two tier cake, but I was able to exchange the included "champagne toast" for an extra tier on the cake. (Very flexible, the Terrace!) The package also included a photographer (for one hour). For the most part, everything was beautiful, and amazing, and exactly what I dreamed of....with the exception of a couple of things: First off, just about EVERYTHING extra was an additional charge: the bartender for the cash bar, the chair coverings and sashes, the table cloth accents. It does add up!! For the cost, over all, I thought the Terrace a little pricey for what was provided. And those little extras really do make everything extra special, so its not like you can't have them! Then I accidentally found out two days before my wedding that my wedding coordinator had resigned, and I was now assigned to a new one whom I had never delt with!! No one bothered to call me, or notify me, and had I not called the my coordinator on her cell phone, I probably would not have known until the day of my wedding when we showed up and had a stranger trying to help us! Not something you want to experience so close to the big day! The girl I ended up with was new, and seemed inexperienced, but she tried hard, and all things considered did an o.k. job. But I've saved the best, or worst, for last. The photographer. Wow. I met with them (Cashman Photography) a few days before the wedding, to meet the photographer, discuss the kind of pictures I wanted, and to generally get a feel for the person who would be capturing my wedding on film. I was very specific on what I did and did not want, and was very clear on my hopes and expectations. For instance, I am almost 6 feet tall, and the photographer was a mere 5'2". I was very adamant about NOT shooting "up"...no one likes that double chin, up your nose camera angle. So imagine my dismay when I got my wedding picture disk from the photographer...not only was every shot at an "up" angle so that all our feet were cut off and there was 6 inches of sky on top of every picture, but they were not centered in the frame, and half of them were either over flashed, or too dark!! Are you kidding me? This is not something that can be redone! Thank GOD I had another personal friend who is also a photographer there, and thank GOD I didn't have to pay for Cashman Photography! I was extremely disappointed in their work.

The Terrace took care of everything! We live out of state and they gave us information for a florist, photographer the took care of the dj. Our wedding was everything we could have asked for and much more!

The Terrace is absolutely beautiful! A little expensive and EVERYTHING you want is of course extra. But the extra's that we added made the night the most memorable wedding ever! My guests are still calling me and saying it was the best wedding ever! I went through 3 wedding coordinators in a year and then my final one wasn't even there for my wedding but her husband who is the owner was there to help me. The staff was wonderful and professional. The best thing was the DJ (Terry Mason) who was hired through the Terrace with the package. Food was great! Grounds are astonishing!!

The Terrace was a distance wedding a I could not have asked for a better vendor for the wedding and reception. The food was great and the cake was beautiful. Thye provided the DJ and he set a fun but classy mood. The Terrace suggested the florist and she hit the nail right on the head by just phone conversations. It all worked out perfectly.

Leading up to our wedding day communication was intermittent. Often we had to try multiple attempts to reach our wedding coordinator. The day before the wedding we were informed that we would not be able to set up the decorations as planned. We were told to arrive at 3pm the day of the wedding to set up. Upon arriving we were informed that it would be about 15 minutes before we could set up. The 15 minutes turned into an hour before we could set up. The ceremony and reception turned out fantastic and our coordinator stopped in frequently to make sure everything was going smoothly. After the ceremony and reception we arrived back at the dressing rooms to find everything had been moved or was missing and we were locked out of the room. After approximately 30 minutes everything was resolved but not without some attitude from guests in the other venue space. I would recommend them for affordability and the help of our coordinator.

This is a perfect venue that is not the cheesy Las Vegas strip wedding. The outside is very nice but hides the true beauty of the grounds. We were married in front of a waterfall, with lit torches and palm trees wrapped in white baby lights. It was so elegant, romantic and felt like a little oasis in the Vegas dessert. The staff was more than accomadating and their service was worth every dime. It is not the cheapest venue but as nice if not nicer than the other over-priced wedding chapels in the area. We had a perfect, stress-free wedding and my friends and family were complimenting us for weeks after the ceremony and reception. A great time was had full of unforgettable memories thanks to the Terrace! =)

Our wedding and reception went off without a hitch. Because we moved before we got married, Jennifer and Clint made sure everything was handled ahead of time. They were very accommodating for our wedding and needs. The food was fantastic and it was by far worth every dime. We were pleased with everyone they recommended for both the DJ and our officiant. Not to mention, their availability was great for our rehearsal, tastings and our actual wedding.
